This recognition, widely considered the most elite distinction in the profession, marks the second consecutive year Sharon has earned the award.
The Lawdragon selection process is highly competitive, performed by a team of professionals with over 100 combined years of lawyer reporting and information business. Selection for the annual Lawdragon Leading Lawyers requires a lawyer to have shown outstanding skills for at least 15 years in practice. Sharon is a passionate and forceful advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families who confront barriers in education, high-stakes testing, employment, housing, and accessing state and federal services and supports. She represents college and university students with disabilities to ensure that they have equal access to their curriculum and other services. She has significant experience collaborating with these entities and litigating where necessary, on issues involving her clients’ needs.
Earlier this year, Sharon was included in Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America Guide for 2024, recognized for her work in Health Care Provider Regulatory Litigation. She has also been named to the publication’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Employment and Civil Rights Lawyers list each year since 2021. In addition to her Lawdragon accolades, Sharon has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America each year since 2018 and has been named to Maryland Super Lawyers from 2013 onward.
