Chelsea Crawford Makes Super Lawyers’ Maryland Rising Star List – Technologist
For the seventh consecutive year, Chelsea Crawford has been named a Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the excellence she has exhibited throughout her legal career. Chelsea’s inclusion in the Rising Star list comes after a highly competitive selection process, with no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys earning the designation.
“It is gratifying to be named a Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers alongside such an impressive group of my peers.” Chelsea said. “I look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality services to my clients in the coming year.”
A journalist-turned-litigator, Chelsea joined Brown, Goldstein & Levy in September 2015 and has extensive experience representing individuals and entities in complex civil matters, including federal civil rights litigation, serious personal injury and wrongful death, and commercial disputes. Since joining the firm, Chelsea has obtained some of the largest settlements in Maryland history for wrongful conviction and police misconduct cases.
In addition to recognition from Super Lawyers, Chelsea has earned consistent accolades from The Best Lawyers in America and Lawdragon. She was recently selected by The Baltimore Banner as one of just 13 honorees—and the only attorney—for its 2024 class of Emerging Leaders. In September 2023, Chelsea was appointed to the Baltimore City Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commission by Governor Wes Moore, and she was appointed alongside a prestigious group of Maryland lawyers and businesspeople to Attorney General Anthony Brown’s Transition Team.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The Rising Stars list, which follows the same guidelines as the Super Lawyers list, is reserved for attorneys who exhibit excellence in practice and are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less.
